It all started with a simple question.
One day, while working on a construction site, I watched a concrete barrier fall from a forklift. When it hit the ground, it cracked.
At that moment, almost as a joke, I asked myself:
"What if a barrier could bounce instead of break?"
During my lunch break, I couldn't stop thinking about that question. I began researching different types of safety barriers and quickly realized there were virtually no barriers made from recycled rubber.
As I continued my research, I also discovered the growing problem of discarded tires. Millions of tires reach the end of their life every year, yet this material still holds enormous potential.
That's when AR Barrier was born.
Our mission is simple: to transform recycled tires into durable, reusable, high-performance barriers that reduce waste while offering a new approach to safety.
Today, that one simple question continues to inspire every innovation we create.
AR Barrière is a Québec-based company developing a new generation of safety barriers made from recycled rubber. Our barriers are designed as a durable, reusable alternative to traditional concrete barriers, combining impact resistance with the environmental benefit of giving end-of-life tires a new purpose.
